Prayer around the altar
Separate as individuals or pairs into different parts of the sanctuary or church building
Prayer in a circle holding hands
Pray for needs by category (physical, financial, spiritual, etc.)
Have one person start, then go around the circle in turn (could be conversational or sentence prayers)
Don’t be afraid of silence; listening is a vital part of prayer
Directed prayer (leaders asks individuals to pray about specific needs, or assign general areas to different individuals)
Try different positions (standing, sitting, kneeling, prostrate, etc.)
Prayer for missions (missionaries, world areas, people groups, 10/40 Window, etc.)

Praise, Thanksgiving, Confession, Intercession, Petition, Listening
